To the editor:

Two way tolls on the Verrazzano Bridge should make an enormous difference in the amount of truck traffic those of us living below Canal Street endure daily as we risk our lives trying to navigate crosswalks in an attempt to get to and from home.

Since one way tolls began in 1986, crossing Canal literally has been a death-defying act. Thank you Councilmember Chin and Congressman Nadler and Congress woman Velasquez.
