To the editor,
While it is obvious that community representatives needed to applaud this breakthrough, I consider it too little too late. If the process for announcing and clarifying this decision was accurately described in this Broadsheet article, clearly, the BPCA Board and staff are nervous and uptight about public discussion of resident concerns. It is unbelievable that in our so-called democracy speaking up and speaking out is treated like a rare opportunity with lots of “ifs” and “buts”.
