To the editor,

They (BPCA) just don’t get it. The July 20th meeting was an embarrassment.

I was embarrassed to see a room full of very busy and competent people having to sit through boring information that served the needs of the presenters, but not those of the people stuck in the seats.

That consultant report was for a business meeting, where people have to sit through tedious information because it is their job.

It is not our job to attend these meetings.

We attend because WE EXPECT TO HAVE A VOICE AND TO HEAR THE VOICES OF OUR NEIGHBORS about important issues that affect our lives.

I felt disrespected (as in “don’t waste my time” disrespected) which, of course, is the whole point of the community’s problem with BPCA. They continue to think that they are the most important people in the room. They just don’t get it.
