In Monday’s BroadsheetDAILY, I was quoted expressing concern that the financial presentation that the BPCA promised to provide at Monday’s Open Community meeting would not be a deep enough dive. But, they did it!!!
Using illuminating PowerPoint slides, BJ Jones, President and COO, gave a terrific explanation of the creation of the Authority, and the rules under which the BPCA operates.
Pamela Frederick, CFO, gave an excellent presentation of the key aspects of financing: revenues/expenses and assets/liabilities.
The “Public Info” section on the BPCA homepage is a treasure trove of data.)
It is clear that we have entered a new phase of openness and collaboration, and I encourage all members of our vibrant community to get informed and get involved.
