Battery Park City Parks is presenting a free classical music concert for children (ages eight and up) on Wednesday, February 7 at Six River Terrace (opposite the Irish Hunger Memorial), starting at 5:00 pm.
The event, in partnership with the Knickerbocker Chamber Orchestra, is titled “The Red Violin” and features two stars: acclaimed violin virtuoso Elizabeth Pitcairn and the “Red Mendelssohn” violin made by the legendary Antonio Stradivari in 1720.
