11AM – 4PM Indie Craft Fair
6 River Terrace
Judy Sklover is one of those Battery Park City pioneer women who is devoted to the neighborhood. Last year, realizing that many of her friends led artistic lives, she decided to organize a craft fair that showcased some of their work. It was a huge success, and she promised both vendors and shoppers that she would do it again. Today Judy is presenting her second annual Indie Craft Fair, with double the number of vendors. “This year we have 18 artists,” she said. “I have had the help of friends Heidi Owen, Erika Piik and Sheila Schmidt in brainstorming and organizing, and we are very proud of the selection of artists we have this year.”

Cruise Ships in New York Harbor
Arrivals & Departures
Many ships pass Lower Manhattan on their way to and from the Midtown Passenger Ship Terminal. Others may be seen on their way to or from piers in Brooklyn and Bayonne. Stated times, when appropriate, are for passing the Colgate clock in Jersey City, New Jersey, and are based on sighting histories, published schedules and intuition. They are also subject to tides, fog, winds, freak waves, hurricanes and the whims of upper management.
