Attorney Daryl Kleiman stepped up to the microphone at The Event, the annual fundraiser gala for the Church Street School for Music & Art, and reminded the glitterati that they might have seen her not so long ago answering the school’s phone as the receptionist.
Growing up in Battery Park City, Ms. Kleiman attended the school’s art and music programs as a child, and then worked at the school. Today, she is the first student to return as a board member of the Church Street School for Music & Art.
