Robin Forst |
First let me say, I am not a resident of BPC, however I have lived in Lower Manhattan for over 36 years. During that time I served for 12 years on Community Board 1 where I had the pleasure of working with Robin and have continued my professional and personal relationship with her over many years.
Robin is a dedicated public servant who has cultivated a trust among the community through her many years of tirelessly working to create a better downtown community.
There is no one more well versed in the workings of lower Manhattan from her time on CB1, the Lower Manhattan Construction Command Center and during her time as Community Liaison at BPCA.
There is a systemic problem, as one can plainly see, with the senior management of the BPCA. Either our Governor, who appoints these people, is blind to the fact that his appointees are a failure, or he is constructively allowing this failure.
BPC is losing valuable talent because of the inept ability on the part of BPCA’s management. It’s a shame that an area as wonderful as BPC is going downhill rapidly. The Governor needs to open his eyes.
